Reform of the multi-disciplinary integrated innovative physics experiment course under the background of emerging engineering education

Abstract: A reform scheme of multi-disciplinary integrated innovative physics experiment course is proposed according to the educational goal to cultivate the“emerging engineering education”undergraduate students. In this paper, the reform plan has been elaborated in three aspects: the aim and the problems planed to be solved,the investigation on these problems in various domestic and overseas universities and the specific reform ideas and measures of our reform program. The reform program combines traditional physics experiments with the multidisciplinary latest scientific researches and could also promote teachers to convert latest scientific research results into teaching. Designing such multi-disciplinary integrated innovative physics experiments and combining them with scientific research would help to establish a foundation for the cultivation of emerging engineering undergraduate students.
